Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific – Philippe Prette and Jung Hoon Yeon victorious in race 1 at Inje

Inje, July 19th - Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific fourth round race which is the world’s best class one-make race has started at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province, Korea.
On the first day of the race, the Ferrari APAC Challenge was led by Philippe Prette in the Pirelli classification, who took the chequered flag in Race 1 of Trofeo Pirelli, finishing with an impressive racing time of 28:18.067. Prette has been a dominant force, leading every lap from start to finish. Following closely behind him in the Trofeo Pirelli class was Steve Wyatt, who finished second, while Ringo Chong finished third.

For the newcomers in the Coppa Shell class, Jung-hoon Yeon recorded an amazing lap time of 28:47.667. His very first win in the Challenge race resulted in big applause and admiration from the fans. Korea’s famous actor, Jung-hoon Yeon, represented Korea by participating in the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific. He came in first in Race 1 in the Coppa Shell class and showed his ability as a good driver. He started in the Coppa Shell class in 2012, and came in second during the qualifying race in Sydney, Australia and third during the final race in Shanghai.

The drivers will race again tomorrow for part 2 of the Ferrari Challenge weekend at Inje Speedium. Race 2 will take place at 11.00AM local time.
