Ferrari Challenge APAC – A Successful Conclusion Philippe Prette and David Tjiptobiantoro Victorious In Inje

July 20th, 2014 – A day of sunshine welcomed the final day of the Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific 4th round race at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province, Korea on July 20th.

Hundreds of Ferrari fans, owners and their families were thrilled by the on-track activities. Excitement, spectacle and thrills were abundant during the second day of the race where the drivers fought fiercely for victory under the hot sun. Lots of manoeuvres and overtaking on the tracks between drivers as they raced towards the finishing line. In the Pirelli classification, Philippe Prette won the title once again, recording a racing time of 28:21.879. Second place went to Ringo Chong who crossed the line just 11.4” behind the leader. Third place went to Steve Wyatt.

In the Coppa Shell classification where Korea’s famous actor, Jung-hoon Yeon, participated in, David Tjiptobiantoro took the victory with a time of 28:58.522. Tani Hanna finished second on today’s podium while Vicente Floirendo took third position.

The next round of the Asia Pacific Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli will take place on September 13-14 in Fuji, Japan, followed by Sepang in Malaysia on 1 – 2 November. The final round, Finali Mondiali, will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 3 - 6 December.
