Blancpain Endurance Series – Two Ferraris lead with 7 hours to go

Spa-Francorchamps, 27 July– The Spa 24 Hours is two thirds of the way through and the situation is interesting for the crews of the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3s in the two categories in which they are entered, the Pro Am Cup and the Gentlemen Trophy. In the Pro Am Cup, the Scuderia Villorba Corse car 90 is leading with seven hours to go crewed by Andrea Rizzoli, Andrea Montermini, Francesco Castellacci and Stefano Gai, currently driving.

Second is the Ecurie Ecosse BMW while third is the AF Corse Ferrari 52 car driven by Wyatt-Rugolo-Lowndes-Piccini.

In the Gentlemen Trophy the AF Corse 51 car crewed by the Byelorussia driver Alexander Talkanitsa, Englishman Peter Mann, France’s Cedric Mezard and Portugal’s Francisco José Burnay Erera Lobo Guedes, currently at the wheel. In second place is the Team Parker Audi, with the Delahaye Porsche third, having started from pole.
Leading overall is the number 1 Audi with Rene Rast at the wheel. The race ends at 16.30 today.
