Ferrari Challenge APAC – Round three in Shanghai

Ferrari Challenge APAC – Round three in Shanghai

Shanghai, 6 June - This weekend the Ferrari Challenge APAC returns to the track for the third round of the season. Once again, the races form part of a Ferrari Racing Days event which has got underway today at the Shanghai track in China.
Once again, wheel to wheel combat is expected between competitors in both the Trofeo Pirelli and the Coppa Shell. In the second round of the year in Sydney, there were double wins for the Hong Kong driver Philippe Prette and the Indonesian David Tjiptobiantoro.

Heading the classification in the Trofeo Pirelli however is Australia’s Steve Wyatt, who picked up two second places in Sydney, while in the Coppa Shell, so far there have been no surprises with Tjiptobiantoro monopolising the wins.
The Shanghai track looks like providing the perfect setting for the Ferrari 458 Challenge EVO cars, which thanks to varous updates, including the rear wing and the new front splitter, will be able to make the most of the high speed corners in the first sector and down the almost 1.2 kilometre straight that comes before the final corner.
Race 1 takes place at 14.55 Saturday local time, with the second on Sunday at 14.30.
