Maranello, 22 April – A double win for Ferrari in the Dutch Supercar Challenge. On Easter Monday, at the legendary Zandvoort circuit, Dutch duo Bob Herber and Martin Langen triumphed in the SGT class at the wheel of the Martino Rosso Racing Ferrari 458 GT2. They completed the 28 laps in 52’32”885, only just beating the Audi of Fabian Hambrecht and Slobodan Cvetekovic at the line. Third was the Volvo of Dutchman Henry Zumbrink.
There was also a win in the GT class for the Curbstone FMA Racing team’s Ferrari 458 GT3, run by the Belgians Patrick Van Glabeke e Frederique Jonckheere. They managed to finish as high as fifth overall, beating the Dodge of Dutchman Craig Wilkens and the BMW of Steve Vanbelligen and Ward Sluys.
The next round takes place at the Nurburgring on 25 May.
